So I'm about to cut into my dash and put my pioneer screen in there and that's going to leave me with an empty radio spot. What should I put in there or replace it with? And ideas other then a storage place for snacks.

 

unfortunately I can't think of any good use of that space unless it's extra storage.

For me, it's too low and out of sight to use as a spot for telemetry readings.

Maybe a dedicated spot for an attach on/off for your phone as a lap timer?

 

I was thinking of making some custom led light show in there and covered with one glass with the S2000 symbol floating in the middle. I'll figure it out somehow

 

If I was doing this, I would make some kind of hidden/concealed place for my CCW weapon.

 

What a riot! I was thinking the same thing but the only thing that would fit, maybe, is the P365.

I suggest you DON'T cut your dash to pieces and just install a good radio/amp in the space and enjoy the car that does not look like Frankenstein.

Edit: As a side note, a side holstered equalizer is pretty easy to get out as it is next to the seat belt release. If at a stop you can make the excuse you are going for your wallet or top down, take aim over your shoulder. That one takes some practice but it is a hoot to use. The downside is the thing is going off (real world not range w/o hearing protection) right next to your ears. You can also practice releasing the seat belt, digging your left elbow into the back of the seat as you rotate pulling the firearm out for a ready pistol position. Use the left knee as a support on the bottom seat pad as your right leg is slightly extended. It actually works well.
