S2000 Engine compression ratio is changing in MY '03???

Nope. Handling has reportably been improved. Springs and shocks were also changed for '02.

Ok, since this has been confirmed, then it has changed from 11.5:1 to 11.0:1.

What effect will this have (I'm sure it is miniscule)

No, the non-Japan market cars all have 11.0:1 compression. The Japanese get 11.7:1, due to the availability of higher-octane fuel there. But again, these compression ratios have not changed since the introduction of the car.

I believe the MY '00-'02 all already have a compression ratio of 11.0:1.
