s2000 engine rotation

Default s2000 engine rotation

hi,can any one tell which way the honda s2000 engine rotates,and does the prop go the same way. the thing is that i have one that im trying to get in my opel.also would any one else have experence in doing this,i will need to try and get wiring diagrams for this as well. thanks alymac::

The engine rotates cllockwise, viewed from the front. Not sure what you mean by "prop" - I assume that's the driveshaft. That one I don't know.

I would assume he means "prop" as in propeller shaft aka driveshaft (lesser used term, give him a break, he's a Brit )

I am pretty sure it rotates the same as the engine output.

I would love to see pics of an S2k engine and trans in an Opel when you get done, good luck...

S2000 engine rotates "backward" from all the other Honda FWD engines... (but normal compared to most RWD cars)

I believe the RSX/Civic Si engine is also CW
