S2000 Engine Swaps. Has anyone done it?
I know it's been done...lots of times. The Monster Miata and Mega Monster Miata are the two most popular versions.
I understand and very much respect the intent of the design of both the Miata and the S2000. I LOVE small, lightweight roadsters, but I also can't deny the appeal of what was done back in decades past with the relatively light AC Ace to morph it into the 289 and 427 Cobras...or the Sunbeam Tiger.
There's something to be said for hoodlum cars!

Besides, if what the designers and engineers at the factories did was the pinacle of automotive design and engineering and appealed to everyone what would be the sense in an aftermarket?

What a waste of money. Theres nothing that a stock F20 can do that a blower can't take care of in an RSX for less money and more oomph. I mean you're talking about cost of bell housing, F20 motor, and labor. Total waste. Just slap a blower on there and be done with it. Unlike the F20, the other honda motors practically beg for FI. They dont have as high of a specific output but they are more tolerant of the darkside.

Doesn't the engine of the S2000 rotate in the opposite direction of other Honda engines. I'm no engineer, but it seems that this would create a problem if you simply tried to bolt another Honda engine to the transmission. Maybe flip the differential upside down?
