S2000 Exhuast Problem
After the incident i drove off once more and the smoke decipated after a few stop and go. I then decided to change the oil to syntec. Now everything seems to run fine. I noticed that while drainin the oil that it was pretty dark with 3000miles on it....one thing though, i had this oil in my car for about 7months, could this be the problem, oil gettign old???

When you're idling it takes longer for the cat and exhaust to warm up, so maybe you were just seeing steam from the H2O being created by the cat? Sometimes if I start my car and don't let it warm up fully before turning it off, the next time I start it there is a bunch of white smoke/steam.
It's best to go for a quick drive to warm up the car rather than just idling it, as that causes everything to heat up faster and burn off the water. Also idling warm up runs rich, and can cause the cat and O2 sensor to clog. Quicker warmup means less rich running time
