I'd wait for the new one if I were in your shoes and could afford the 100 k new NSX when it comes out.

Of course also, I used to be exactkt in your shoes about wanting to own a Ferrari someday. Very recently (one month ago) I changed my mind. I will still own a performance sportscar, but first and formost I want to own a small plane. The opportunities it open up are so huge. I recently rode in my friend's 6 seater cessna and he told me about all the adventures he's had. Man, that's where I'm not headed!

My friend has one, it is not fun to drive. It sits in the garage.

I would never get that ferrari for 60k. In my opinion, an NSX has just as much pimp factor, bling bling factor and ferrari's good looks. I'm not even gonna go into the reliability factor, performance difference and etc etc. NSX is WORLDS ABOVE THAT FERRARI.

Now if money was no object, I'd get the modena 360. Then I'm not even sure I'd choose the 360 over a new NSX. . NSX is my #1 car ALL TIME. BTW, nice pics. White NSX is HOT. I want to get one one day. Make mine white please!

OMG!!! That`s the first time I actually think that NSX is much more better than ordinary (not enzo, maranello etc) Ferrari. If had enough money I`d buy one, put sc in and would blow ferraris away

The Ferrari will kill you with maintenance. There is a reason why it is not unusual to see a 10 year old Ferrari with 10,000 miles.

It is going to cost you around $3,500-5,000 per year(depending on the miles) in just routine maintenance. This is assuming everything is perfect mechanically. If you have any problems, you could be looking at $10,000 before the Ferrari mechanic even works up a sweat.

Go with the NSX, it is relatively maintenance free, and it can be driven daily without submitting a Dun & Bradstreet.

That's what I am going to do soon.

BTW That blue NSX pictured above is as beautiful as it gets.

I'm all for the Ferrari. The "bling bling" factor counts dude. If you are worried about performance... I say stay with the S2000. The NSX will not give you that much more performace than an S2000. The Ferrari is all about "bling bling". You will feel like a million bucks every time you get in the drivers seat. That's an experience that only a few men will ever have. Take the opportunity and be part of that elite group of individuals. Don't follow the crowd and go for the "practical" decision. Paying $60,000 for a car period already means that you aren't that practical. If you're going get a sports car.... get a SPORTS CAR. Like those Hardees commercials always say.

Well... noting that the two cars you own are worth more than I've ever made in my entire life... I don't think that that's an option for most people. However, hopefully I will be able to afford a 360 soon.
