I traded in my first car (automatic) on an S and had a friend drive it home. Spent the weekend driving around parking lots and come Monday I had to get to school and did. Like others have said take it easy, try to avoid hills or parallel parking for the first month. As tempting as it is maybe keep it out of VTEC until you're comfortable driving it around town.

I learned on the S2K. Keep it easy for a while until you get confortable.

Get used to knowing how to start going uphill since it will be the hardest part. It's inevitable that you will stall specially since the S2K doesn't have much torque and let's the car die much easier during the transition between clutch and throttle.

Have someone teach you how to rev match and you should be golden then.

Get it. Just take it easy at first and slowly work you way up to more advanced techniques as you go. I learned on a manual and have been driving them since, about 17 years now. The S2000 is one of the easiest manuals I've driven. It's not super fast, but it's still pretty damn fast. As they said, dont wring it out in the beginning and you'll be fine. Keep in mind that you're not Michael Schumacher, even though you may feel like it sometimes.
