Definitely original. I like it and I appreciate the effort! I think the screws (if that's what they are) around the outside of the plate are a nice touch.

How can the shifts be shorter than stock? The lever looks longer, which would create longer throws! IIRC, the shift lever goes directly into the tranny, so I assume the only practical way to change the throw is to alter the length of the lever?

Looks nice, even if it isn't a gated shifter. You just have a metal hole to replace the OEM plastic one.
Your killing me The shifter hight is OEM within mm.
The shifter it's self is not Honda's, it is one I made. There for it was not necessary
to shorten up the shaft to a nub in order to get a shorter through. The shifter below where you can not see has been changed.

my skunk short shifter in my eg sat 2 inches taller yet the throw was nearly 40-50% less than the stock throw.

They pop up on EBAY from time to time but you have to convert them to fit a standard Honda S2000 steering shaft. It's about a 4 hour job

I had the finish close to the radio door and center console , but I polished it a little to clean it up and I went a bit to far It will dull up some in time and I think I will clear coat the thing when it dose
As far as making more and selling them...I had not given it a lot of thought. I think that when I have the full gate set up(like in the Ferrari and Lambro)there will be a lot of interest in it The only thing that will kill the idea for most is the $$$$ I would have to sell them like fast food hamburgers in order to make it affordable.
Thank you for the complement
