S2000 good for everyone?????
My cousin wants to buy an S2000, now he loves cars very much but hes not the biggest expert on cars and engines. Do you all think that this is a good car for that kind of person, or should you "know your stuff" to drive it.

if he has no experience of drive a handling nimble than average RWD car, he should learn to drive safe first.

I'd highly recommend this car to anyone who can afford it. If it is going to an inexperienced driver I would definitely urge them to attend a driving school, such as Skip Barber. This is definitely a performance car as defined by it's power to weight ratio, and as such is easy to get in over your head with (experienced or not)........just as any other performance car.

This car is not for the meek, I think that everyone who owns one should take a driving course like Skip Barber or something of that nature.
Down shifting in a turn which is almost always a sin, can get someone in trouble!
