Default S2000 HARDBOUND BOOK #105

If interested in purchasing one, they cost $11.44 Each at:

Honda Merchandise Collection Look under the Specials.

I've purchased stuff from the Honda store in the past and they get you your order very quickly.

HardTopGuy charges $25.95 and claims the list price to be $69.95. He also says its weight is 10lbs, so this book should be very nice.

It is a must book for anyone who enjoys having S2000 memorbilia. While it's a very nice hard bound book, there is nothing in it that hasn't already been scanned and appeared on the internet before (ie, line cut-away drawing of a red S2000, line drawings of various componets, promo shots, early design drawings, etc.). When the car came out some dealers gave the books to people buying an S2000. Other dealers sold the book, some for a high price. You can't go wrong for under $12. I don't recall what I paid for mine, #0675, but I'm sure it was more than that.

The wifey always thinking of me :-) bought me that book by Daniel F. Carney simply titled Motorbooks Colortech HONDA S2000. It's an awesome read with alot of pics I've never seen scanned in... Prototypes, pre-design, the reasons why the built it the way they did.. Even some comparisons to cars like the Boxster, Z3, Miata..

I've taken advantage of this link above from jimcarson and added the hardback to the collection too !

Ordered mine Sunday nite after seeing this post. Received it today, Thursday. Got serial number #0563. Either they are doling them out the books at random or working in reverse chronological order. Thanks for the link.

I suspect the numbering is based on what each dealership ordered. Don't worry about the number, years from now when people talk about the break-through-production-car that did 9k revs, it will be a collector's item.

NICE. Thank you, jimcarson, for the heads up. I ordered one also for $21.66, including shipping.

I love my '01 Silverstone (passed to husband) and my '05 Suzuka.
