excellent review hockey, glad you have had luck with the car
any tips on making the top last longer? being from up in the northeast, i hope i can last longer as the top will surely not be going through as many cycles as yourself.

great post, things to come. i follow the maintenance schedule you do, have not used synthetics or special oils or fluids.
32,000 seems like a drop in the bucket, but i have what you have, a great car that returns miles of smiles and little upkeep costs and is honda reliable.
keep posting what you experience, it is good to read real life S2000 experience.

Basically, I held out until the scheduled 105k miles.

I noticed you did not mention anything about the timing chain or timing chain tensioner.
Have you had to replace your TCT?

Replaced at 123k. I'll add it to the original post.
I got tired of the "rattle" in the engine bay and started to read about the TCT. Honestly it was "bad" for a while - probably 20k miles (no joke). I just couldn't diagnose it. When it became a topic of discussion on the boards I was able to put 2 and 2 together.
The job is simple and I have done a number of them for various clients. Thankfully they have all solved the isue and the "rattle" has not returned.
