Default S2000 Hit and Run : (

My dad had a hit and run at work on his mint 2000 S2000. He is still waiting from the police to see if they have video of it, because there are camera's in the parking deck. And it is an employee deck at a hospital so hopefully who ever did it will get caught. He parks in the very corner away from everyone so that things like this don't happen, but somehow it did. I guess it is a good thing it took 9 years to happen though.

Here are pictures:

Any ideas how much this would cost? It seems like it just needs a new door because lucky it was only on that panel. And any good repair shops in the Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham North Carolina Area? I have had work done on a few cars at shops in the area in the past, but not been incredibly impressed and since this is an S2000 I want to make sure it is done right.

Is it a gouge or is there a dent?

Pics show absolutely no depth.

yea sorry the pictures suck. I did not take them and I have not seen the car in person. It looks like someone somehow just backed into the side of his car or something. It seems like he needs a new door panel though luckly.

I had a friend that parked his pickup in the back corner of the lot at work for 10 years to avoid door dings. Last winter the guy clearing snow with a front loader swung the bucket and destroyed the bed of his truck. He at least admitted to it and covered the repairs.
