Default S2000 Horns

Has anyone replaced the horn on your S2000, as you know it is pretty ineffective.

Several owners have added air horns (Fiamm or other brands) including me. Do a search and you should find alot.

Fiamm (Freeway Blaster) also has a single wire electrical horn that will work. Pep Boys has them for about $15.00.

Most certainly, get rid of those pu$$y Honda horns and get some decent replacement ... I've seen BMW horns which sound pretty good but not very loud compared to a set of airhorns. Got a set of triple Hella airhorns as well.

Definitely change the horn. I got FIAMM dual airhorns on mine, and it makes a HUGE difference.

Go with the Triple FIAMM Air Horns!

I remember a member having SIX! horns in his S2000.

I just did the install this weekend. I used a relay to eliminate using a higher amperage fuse.

I too used a relay instead of changing the fuse to a higher fuse. I used the existing wire to the original horn and extended it to the relay. Works great! Also, I did not have to take the bumper off. Saved me time and headache!

Can some of you guys post sound files of your horns? I'd be interested in hearing how loud/deep they are.

Here's a link on the FAQ that I wrote on the installation of my Fiamm air horns: https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/showfaq.php?threadid=17409
