Most or typical airhorns sound like a Ferrari type of output ... Ever seen the ending of a typical F1 race and you hear airhorns blaring in the background from the spectators and supporters? That's just how it sounds like but only much louder.

I actually had a local shop install my horns. They charged me $75 for the install. Nota bad price to pay to make sure it gets done right. I don't think you're in the LA area, but if you were, I can tell you where to go. The shop that did my install, also installed Shaq's stereo and alarm.

Right. OK, I thought so...unfortunately, I don't imagine that I'd like that as my regular horn. I also own a Ford Probe GT, and it has a great, deep horn...not Cadillac deep, but loud enough to get anyone's attention. Is there something similar that we can replace the S2000 horn with?

Thanks for the input.

what i did was complement the OEM with a low tone horn (shell shaped like OEM). it's definately more noticeable instead of the "meep meep" of the original. just mount the additional horn and splice the wires.

The horn in my MY00 Accord is pretty loud. I may just replace my S2000 horn with one of those.

Yes I have.... with airhorns. They don't have to be Fiamms BTW. Airhorns are basically air horns. They are cheap to buy and most all sound reasonably similar. The only thing you really need to decide is whether to go for doubles or triples.

No way Muz!!!!!!!!!!

You forgot the best kind of airhorns, the ones JC Whitney sells with the computer control box, so you can select the tune the horns play. La Cucaracha like the roach coachs, Dixie like the Dukes on the General Lee!

Oh sorry Muz, don't know if you have that in Austrailia!
