Default s2000 keyless remote Q?

How long do they last is their a warning before they go out? That would suck to suddenly not be able to open your door when your alarm is armed and you can't disarm it because the remote is dead. Once in a while it doesn't respond until the 2nr or 3rd click probably because I'm not aiming it right or close enough.

Battery easy to buy? If so does the whole code get reset. Confused owner please help I have 2 of them but I like to know how long they last and I like to be ready. thanks.

i have had my remote for over a year and i still have same battery in there and it still works fine like im here at my room and whenever i push the panic it goes off and it is perdy far down stair from my room
and it is easy to replace the battery all u gotta do it get a NICKLE and use that as a tool to twist the lock towards counter clock on the back of ur remote and check the number of ur battery and go buy the same battery and do the procedure above back wards

but i really think the life of the remote varies depends on how u treat them.....

Go to Rite Aid or any other stores for the batteries. Don't go to dealerships.

No need to reprogram.
