Okay, so this isn't really a top of the line kill, but I wanted to post it anyway because its sooooooo funny. I'm rolling down the street heading to Hooters to watch Monday Night Football with my fraternity brothers. This black Eclipse GST flys past me. I notice his DTM exhaust as he comes by.

I pull up to the light next to him and mind my own business. Then, this little punk starts revvin' his $hit like he's got something. I look over, and there he sits. His girlfriend is in the passenger seat, so I smile at her and wink.

He gets all pissed and starts revving his car so hard it sounds like he's hitting the rev limiter. I decided to provoke him a little and give a nice little 6000 RPM rev - just to let him know.

I drop the clutch at a low 5000 RPMs, so as to not totally fly by him off the line. 1st @ 9200, 2nd @ 9000, then I just start to take it easy - let him catch up. To make a long story short, one light later he's about 5 car lengths behind me.

I just thought it was funny because he was trying to flex on a car that's just out of his league (when he's stock). That Eclipse better bring a bigger turbo to battle next time.

Nice kill man! Some punk in a black Eclipse GST got behind me at a light one day. When it turned green, I took off and just barely got into 3rd (in town, couldn't go TOO fast). He was 2 or 3 car lengths behind, heard HIM crunch 2nd

Yeah. This kid got a pretty good start himself, but he just couldn't pull on the S2K. I don't consider it a great kill, however, because I just don't think his car is in the same "class". Next I wanna kill a Type R.

I know you probably know this already but be careful of those eclipses. The GSX model with the AWD will give you a challenge if properly launched untill the end of 2nd gear. That is a "stoplight" race. The AWD does miracles.

I had a Talon TSi (awd turbo) for a couple years and yes they will launch like they're stuck to the road with velcro. In fact, as I was driving in to work today (at 20mph) in my pickup in the snowstorm, I was thinking about all the fun I used to have in the snow in that car.

Just so you know a 2G Eclipse has faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile times than a Type R. Look it up, not by much but a couple of clicks. Stay away from any modified Eclipses though they will embarrass the hell out of you for very little money.

Not to brag but I beat a Camaro Z28 LT1 that had a modified exhaust by a little over 2 car lengths at 100 miles per hour at the local street races. Nothing to write home about but it was nice to see the look on the Z28 owner's face. He wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the night.
