S2000 Kill: Eclipse GST
LT1s arent that quick relative to the newer LS1s...
Not to take anything away from the kill, as its good to see that. A friend with an LS1 seems to think I'd lose to the LT1, even though I have timeslips of our old Formula WS6 automatic (LT1) that only managed a 14.2 @ 97. That should be beatable in the S2000.
I mean the LT1 has 35 more hp, but 800+lbs more weight, so that should be a close matchup. Then you figure that many LT1s dont have a favorable rear end ratio, vs the S2000 that is optimized for "driving" as opposed to something like fuel mileage.
my Sentra SE-R turbo running 6.6psi and making abour 200hp would run in a dead heat against the Gen2 Eclipses running 17psi of boost and the other "cheap" mods...
That was always a fun race. Literally, nobody gaining or losing, the cars moving just inches ahead/back at speeds from 40 to 135...
