S2000 - The king of the 'affordable' hill???
A little Honda snobbery going on there?
I guess it can go both ways... The Corvette club I belong to keeps razzing me about my Honda... Unfortuneately to them, its hard not to think of my car as being related to the Civics that drive around slammed to the ground with the big pipes and select trim pieces painted yellow...
remarks such as:
Membership: 34 and a half cars (if we count the Honda)...
I try not to let it erk me though... I'd imagine most Z06 owners are actually proud of the Corvette heritage, as well as that of Chevy... I'm sure a few of them don't care that its a Chevy, as long as "its faster than anyone else on the block"...

AutoWeek's 490-foot slalom times report the 360 Modena at 44.5mph. Corvette Z06 and Porsche Boxter S at 46.0 mph. They got up to 47.1 mph in the S2000. The Turbo Carrera got a 48.1 mph, but I wouldn't lump a $116,000 car on the affordable hill.
