Cool vid, yeah it's been posted twice in 2 other subforums. But not in s2k talk.

Kinda makes me sad in a nostalgic way, but it would be cool to know who got the last s2000 ever produced.

It is still for sale on a lot with a $10,000 "regional demand" up charge.

This is a cool vid. I still can't believe how much manual labor is involved in a mass production car like the S.

Definitely a repost (I saw it here before I even owned one) but a cool video.

Not sure I'd call it a mass-produced car, though I'm not sure what threshold puts it at a mass-produced vehicle. They averaged about 10,000ish a year, which comes out around 30 a day. However, definitely a lot more manual labor than you'd expect. You can tell Honda wanted them to be a great vehicle, not only by looking at the engineering and amount of hand-work that went into it, but the fact they picked their 300 best to build it. I always thought it was nice that the B18C5 heads (from the Integra Type-R) are really just B16 heads, except when inspected they set the ones with "perfect casts" aside to be used for the Type-R.
