S2000 or Lotus Elise....?
for handling and body structure and performance, the Elise is definely a better car...much more sporty
but for luxury......the Elise looks too "nude"
that's why I am still prefer to buy a 2005 S2000
**the only car that make me to change my mind now is the 2005 Subaru WRX STi Spec C
too bad they don't export the RA (rally) edition....only 300 in the world
I have actually sat in one in the dealership., the air duct on the hook is XXXXing awesome!!
REMARK: and tonight, one WRX STi (2004 model) was leading me and then one more is following me when I am driving home. obviously, they live very close to my house, too!!
(both are white, sweet!)

I had a dream last night about test driving a yellow Elise at a dealership. It was a sweet ride until I crashed the car in a telephone poll
I don't know what this dream means but I'm holding off on buying the Elise for now. You know sometimes dream can come true

I actually came to a web site from Thailand one time that explains dream
and the result is simple, if you see bad things (like blood, crash, accidents)...in the dream
in reality, it means GOOD thing!!
so I guess good luck is coming to you

good shots of the Elise....I had no idea the interior cabin was so tight. I know how low they are to the ground, but geez legs and shoulders touching?
that's a little too cozy!

too bad the final production design cannot reach the 340HP per 1000KG ratio spec...(I think this is what the number means)
**the car was supposed to design to weight 500KG and 170HP...but it ends up to be 700KG, because of safety regulation....
anyone can verify the informations?? I forgot....
for the track day (race)
actually in many country, Lotus has set up racing event (8 races per year)
the whole package is to come up with AUS180,000 (or approx. US$130,000)
for the payment
the payment already includes
the supply of the Lotus sports car (for the racing)
a team to take care of the car for you (tunning and repairment, no extra cost, even you crashed the thing)
total 8 races per year
every race is covered by LIVE TV!!
**however, I think they also check your Racing ID card, to see what ranking level are you to be able to join the race..
(and there are many applications for joining the race, for it is not easy to get in)
but anyway, the US$130,000 sounds alot..but I talked to my friend in Australia, who races for Holden, he says race people don't spend money on races, they get sponsorship...
and he's trying to get into this Lotus Cup racing, so he is working hard to get as many sponsorship for the money as fast as possible.
you may consider this opportunity too.
because the LIVE TV coverage really worths something
if you perform very good in the races, you may get contract by the big guys, like BMW team..etc

I like the classic lines of the S2000 and it is a more comfortable car. The Elise looks like a fishing lure without the hooks. Ugly, uncomfortable, bare bones and overpriced. Plus you get the signature quality of a Honda. Just MHO.
