Whose money is on the Enzo if they had to hit 170 mph?

The Mclaren is the fastest (or was) when it comes to overall top speed, but its not the quickest. However the time they listed is .6 seconds off of the best F1 time I've seen (11.0), I've heard of them breaking into the high 10's though, but never seen evidence to support it.

I have a vid of the F1 hitting 391km/h, which is aproximately 244mph.

It would be interesting to take the cars from that list and see how the rankings change if they run the 1/4 mile, slow, turn around, and run the 1/4 back to the start line.

I also wonder when the tests were run on the old muscle cars. Are these recent tests with modern tires? Or are these times from old magazines that tested the OEM tires.

I'd be surprised if we're faster than the 'new' ones coming out of Shelby's shop now.

Some of those numbers don't seem right. Just to name a few 3000gt,360 modena beating a viper?. Could be wrong....... Also how can a forester post 13.8 with 210hp.

Nice list though.

These are from magazine tests...see the last column. Some of the numbers may be off than real world since every car is made different, and while skill is marginal in a straight line, I'd guess Car and Driver testers are a bit faster than those at Popular Mechanics.
