Default S2000 made me a worse driver

I haven't curbed my s2000 when turning or parking but because of my s2000 when I drive my ctsv which is a boat comparably, I have curbed it at least 4 times. I take turns a bit to early because im used to the s2000 turn in and curbed my wheel on the turn. It sucks because the rims on the ctsv are really expensive. I decided to plasti dip the v rims and I'm on my 2nd repair because of the turn ins. Anyone else become a worse driver...

I don't have a problem hitting curbs in other vehicles but that be because i drive a work van every now and then.

Just sell you CTSV and get another S problem solved.

Test drove an Infiniti FX35....went over the curb big time while pulling out of the dealership. Luckily the larger tires protected the wheel. I felt slightly embarrased in front of the salesman, but then I remembered to myself....it's because of the S.

In the TL, my s2k late-braking-to-a-turn technique has quite a different effect. No curbs yet though..*knocks on wood grain*

I think some of you need to learn how to drive. It is all the same if you pay attention to what you are doing. My DD is a E92 335i alot bigger than my CR and I drive company crew cabs as well. Learn to pay attention and drive defensively.

I track my CR heavily, just remember driving on public roads should be done in a safe manner, save it for the track.

My S made me worse at driving in traffic. I admit I'm the jerk on the road tailgating and driving fast

I have a TL as a daily and agree with biohazard. The S lets me blow off driving steam at the track or autox and the DD is driven like a daily.
Additionally it is a larger FWD so, understanding the basics of driving dynamics is pretty basic to keeping the understeer in check and understanding the footprint of the car

My other car is a 2G CTS-V too....great minds think alike. I can't say that I drive worse in the V than in the S. I've had both so long now that I make the automatic adjustment between the two. You just have to pay attention. I've never curbed the rims on my V.

I bet the front bumper trim on your V is scratched up, too! (Disclaimer: I screwed up the front bumper trim on mine *whistles* )

The bigger adjustment is when I have to switch to my wife's Pilot (FWD most of the time).
