Couple times people asked me if my car was a new BMW. They were shocked when I told them it was a "Honda".

How about you???

 

I was told, "nice Porsche" when I first emailed the photos to people.

I said "Hey this ain't no piece of $hit Boxster"

 

WOW!

 

i have gotten the nice porsche comment a few times. usually, i laugh thank them and move on.

ignorance is bliss, they say, and i see no reason to ruin for them.

 

New Mecedes - twice
New BMW - once
New Porsche - thrice
New Miata - once
New Ferrari - once (As if, I want whatever they were taking)
What is it - can't count that high.

 

My father thinks S2000 looks just like a Miata.

 

The s2k looks NOTHING like the Miata.
Anyways, people always ask what kind of car is that. I have also had some good reactions to the car. The other day I was a stop sign when a girls driving an integra went by. She slowed down and took her sunglasses off just to look at the car. She kept looking back till I was out of sight. It was great.

 

Kind of got upset the other day when a guy asked me if that was a new Del Sol.... I just turned around and walked away!

 

I've had the car for two months and so far people think:

New BMW Z3 - 5 times
New Porsche Boxster - 3 times
New Miata - Once
New Honda Del Sol - Once
New Lotus Elise - Once

Most of the time, people can't believe it's a Honda when I tell 'em.

 

Yup...Probably the same people asked me in Sacramento
