i did that with a pearl and carbonfiber is300 that i ran into on the road in tennessee, we both let each other hear our engines and gave the thumbs up and played a showoff cat and mouse then parted ways... much respect.

 

Yup was at the race strip and these damn rednecks said "what is this ricer doing on the badboys lane?" I'm like "stfu with those ugly POS and go get washed up"

 

I've had my S2k for a month now. I'll get an occasional glance once and a while from soccer moms and ricers. No one has tried revving at me or instigate a race. When I had my Evo, that was a different story.

 

 

I have had my s2k for about a month now too and I get all kinds of shit tryin to race against me, especially when i drove to Myrtle Beach. Jackass kids in their integras and civics thinkin they are hot shit. One funny experience was when an STi came up beside me and started revvin and whatnot, then a GSXr blows by both of us doin a wheelie. Its fun to let lets those integras have a little room off the start and then rip off a 9 grand shift or two as u blow past them...

 

I get the same thing nearly every day leaving work. There is a nice gradual curving entrance ramp into the main road in front of the base. I usually take it real easy on the ramp and then right when it ends i drop it into second and get the car up to the speed limit of 55 in WOT.

It never fails, someone behind me in some american muscle or some riced out pos will see this and be sure to pass me going 75-80 thinking they showed me up or something. I just shake my head and laugh. Cops watch that road like crazy because they know there are plenty of stupid AF guys that like to speed.

 

yes, today i am sure on my lunch break this rx 8 thought he beat me; rather he was willing to go 90 in a 50 and i was content getting back to work ticket free.

 

I seem to only get bothered by 350Zs. They always have something to prove.

 

I've had a few ricers try to entice me in the 8 months I've owned the car (in the DC area). Once a late model 911 Turbo tried to race with me on the freeway, I took that as a compliment. Just this week, a lady in a z4 and another lady in a Boxter, tops down, both tried racing with me, but with my recent ticket I couldn't risk anything. A hot lady in a hot car has always been a fantasy, this is probably the worst part of getting a ticket.

 

I get guys wanting to race me at stop lights. This guy in one of those new Subaru Imptrezas gunned it out of a light because I was right next to him. I just casually drove like I normally do while thinking "what an ass." I hear its a powerful car but it looks like crap IMO. Can't even compare to the look of the S.
