Does anyone else think the S2000 is about the prettiest car under $40k?

Its sure more elegant looking than the Z and the RX-8. Not as muscular looking, but purtier!

The BMW roadsters have kind of an ugliness to them, thats hard to describe. The Z3s are too rounded, and the Z4s too angular.

The Corvette has some nice curves and sleekness, but is over 40k...

yes, but 40k seems very arbitrary. That's like going onto an SI forum and having people say "new Si, nicest looking car under 25K" or something.

I think it's the second-best looking car for $40k. I love all true roadsters- the long hood, stubby tail, and level bodylines. All of that said, I think the Z4 is the sexiest car out there right now. It's a love/hate style, but it's my ideal. I'd own one if the 3.0 wasn't $15k more than our car.

 

I have to disagree. The whole front end of the Z4 is awful. I hate the style, look, etc. etc. Not diggin' it at all.

The g35 coupe 6 speed is around 40k I think that is pretty friggin sexy

 

G35 is probably the best under 40 grand right now, I would put the S2k second though!

 

the G35 IS the nicest looking but the sportiness, or lack therof, pushed me towards the s2k.
