Default S2000 on Order: Color Suggestions Needed...

I've recently ordered a 2002 Honda S2000 from Frank Leta Honda @ MSRP. Now, I have until this upcoming Friday to decide on a color. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Here are my thoughts:
Silver: Lends a classy look to the S2000; but maybe too bland w/black interior and too flashy w/red interior (I kinda wish they didn't make the entire dash red)
White: Harks back to Honda's racing tradition; but hides the S2000's lines (can someone prove me wrong on this?)
Black: Very nice; but too difficult to maintain
Red: Classic color; but tends to attract the local constabulary
Suzuka Blue: Not sure; I have heard many mixed impressions
Yellow: Too flashy? Or maybe an Asian guy (Me) with a yellow car is just plain silly

I'm leaning towards Silver in either Red or Black, but am willing to consider other colors. (Also, pics of 2002s would be appreciated - especially the Silver/Black combo)

Thanks in advance!
Chunky

I know other S2K drivers will beat me on this....., but IMHO my recommendation is Suzuka Blue. You won't regret it. Click on my signature to go see some pics of my car on my web site. Good luck.

I am/was leaning towards Silver, and while I really wanted the red interior with it, it was .... TOO RED. I think with the older models the red was more of an accent color, but now there's too much of it. Black seems too bland. So I really appreciate the pics of the Suzuka Blue. I think I'll have to see it in person before I decide, but I now think I'm leaning towards Suzuka Blue instead. Still have to get on a list somewhere though... so any suggestions for this part of the country would be appreciated.

I just got my Suzuka Blue yesterday. I struggled with the color decision forever. I finally got to see a blue, yellow and black side by side. I am very happy with my choice. The color is almost like the new silver(which is very nice) with a blue shade to it. I think it is very classy, and I have had numerous compliments already on the awesome color.

Here http://www.hondacars.com/models/s2000/qtvr...vrs.html?show=5 is a good link that shows the interior as it really appears. Not quite as loud as the all red, and yet more punch than the all black. I like it. But it is personal taste, and a good case can be made for all of the colors. I spent a lot of time on the phone and shopping so that I actually saw all of the colors in person before buying. You will know when you see the one that you have to have....

What colors are the best for minimizing swirl marks? I have a red 2001 prelude now, and even with very good care, the swirl marks are very annoying. I'm leaning towards yellow for the s2000.

Your analysis of your options almost exactly mirrors mine!

You need to go see the Red interior yourself (if you haven't already done so). Better yet, get a test drive in one. A ride around the block with the top down on a sunny day convinced me that the red interior is just, in a word, classic! Soneone else had posted a while ago that it grows on you after sitting in it for a while. They were right.

One question: are you planning on making this your daily driver, or a weekend car? If it's the latter, red makes it extra-special. For daily use, red may be a bit loud...

Also remember, it's the CAR that's the most important thing....
