Default S2000 Out of Hibernation

I finally pulled the Dustop cover off the 2003 Suzuka yesterday. Man does it look good and felt great on the first drive of the year. Trying to decide whether to keep it or sell, since I only have 2571 miles on it. The first owner simply drove it a few miles to work on nice days. Since I'm retired, I only drive it a few miles to the gym on nice days and local errands. It is fun to drive, but I may decide to free up the garage for my daily driver.

I guess if the car is only driven about 200 miles a year it doesn't make much sense to keep it considering the tags, insurance etc. It is going to make someone a very happy owner.

I would sell it and use the money to buy ANOTHER S2K with more miles for less $$$.

You get an S2K and wouldn't be worried about the driving or miles AND you get a nice stack of $$$ leftover in the bank.

Best of both worlds

Wow, you've got me beat. My 05 has a whopping 7K miles on it and it's staying at the storage garage for another few weeks - as it's snowing again. I've decided that I'm either going to start driving it more this summer or, like you, sell it and make room for another of our DDs to stay in the garage this summer. Heck, it might even see rain this year. I thought about getting something different like a Lexus SC, a C6 vette, another Del Sol, or a newer t-bird, but nothing gets me any more excited than just keeping the S2K.

ZZZZ, Is your test drive like to the end of the driveway and back? Agree with the earlier poster, sell this S2K, get yourself a higher mileage DD S2K that you can enjoy without having angst over putting miles on it. Plus, you pocket some nice $$.

I barely got back from taking the s2000 out. I went top down on a warm summer night, hit vtec, and found out why I bought the car in the first place. It was lovely!
