S2000 Out Of State
Car looks very nice, especially with the updated AP2V1 wheels. Nice to find one that hasn't been buggered improved with aftermarket wheels and suspensions. Does need new elastic between the roof frame bars as it doesn't appear to be all the way down, a common and recurring problem as the elastic wears from being stretched.

I honestly don’t know too much about the soft tops, how much would a repair for that cost?
Or maybe any resources I can look into so I can do it myself?
in the Honda community the consensus I’ve found is get a Robbins top and on the ap1 spring for the glass rear window. You can search for Robbins top on here. Depending where you are I’d ask to see who a reputable installer would be and should find someone fairly close. I’m getting ready to have mine done and have a guy 2 hours from me to install it right.
Roof elastic. Truly a 20 minute DIY fix.
How's the roof fabric? My 2006 OEM roof had a 2" tear over the passenger shoulder where the frame rubs and looked OK when patched but drove me nuts looking at it even if few others saw it. Professional installation recommended for any roof and there are a couple of guys here who can do it. If you're in western Washington where it's been known to rain the roof installation is especially critical as it's easy to bungle it and have the trunk flood when it rains. As noted you can get a glass rear window in the Robbins replacement roof.

It’s actually going to be my daily driver, that being said I should have someone look at it and see if it needs to be replaced. I don’t think it does. It’s doesn’t leak or anything.
Thank you for the roof elastic strap fix. I’ll do it myself, found a few videos on YouTube about it.
I appreciate it!!!

Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy! Lots of fun adventures await I'm sure.
I see you've also perfected the standard S2000 parking routine–end space with a little extra room for whoever will be parking nearby, LOL!

Two seat cars make poor daily drivers, especially convertibles.
I'm a slow learner and had to relearn this 4 times! The S2000 is #5 and a second car. And I never had to deal with the rain forests in Washington.
To me this car is no fun to drive with the roof up and a hardtop just makes it a coupe. On nice summer days when I'd commute to work the roof would come down coming out of my garage, up in the company parking lot, down going to lunch, up in the parking lot, down for the drive home, and finally back up once in the garage at home. Let's see that's down, up, down, up, down, up. Those 36 seconds can damage the roof if the straps aren't right or the frame has rough spots.
