Today I was out late at night with my girlfreind in her 06 Beetle. I rode right up to a AP2 and there was a young guy in there with a cap on about my age or a lil younger. I tried talking to him, and told him that I had an 05. He pretty much just said oh.. okay.. see ya.

I wanted to strike a convo, cause mabey later on some other day we can ride, but I guess not. Seemed like a complete dick to me. No need for people like that to be driver these cars. ONLY Polite people should be driving. j/k but you get my drift.

 

what an ass... i know i talk to other S2 owners as much as i can... maybe the guy was just antisocial? just the other day some guy in a white AP2 was waving like crazy to me... of course i was waving like crazy back.... but i do agree with you tho... dicks shouldnt drive nice s2's.... go polite people all the way >.<

boards doesn't have much to do with it, we only reprsent maybe 20% of the s2k owners out there. Just had this topic last week

 

seriously man, since i've had the car (1.5 month) my g/f has been given a dirtly look by a dude in a laguna blue and some gangster dude in an AP1 gave me a dirty look. i did not even try to talk to these people either haha.

 

I have gotten some bad looks from people driving S2ks. I waved at one guy and I think he thought I was waving at his girl. Yeah, he gave me a pretty bad look and speed away.

 

The other day I saw another S2000 coming towards me, on the main street of the small villiage I live in. I was totally surpriced, so I forgot to wave.
I'm not sure the driver waved at me, I don't think so.

 

Pulled in to QT gas station and AP2 NFR was at a pump next to me. I made eye contact and gave him the customary wave. Hey buddy same car.
Older guy-maybe he didn't want to talk to me 'cause I had an AP1. Geeez wasn't trying to be his best friend or anything.
