Hey guys...........remember me I am the stupid one who sold my S2K and bought a Acura CL type S. The car is Ok, but I tell ya, their BBS http://www.acura-cl.com is warped. I found that on S2000 online you all helped each other, you love your cars and tend to get along. I just got reamed with four letter words and death threats on the CL BBS. The overall tone of the CL BBS is not the same. I can say I truly miss the S2K, but I also miss the comradery of this BBS.

Missed ya and your thumbnail of your former drop-dead gorgeous gleaming black beauty. Well, you got extra utility with that glove box, console, backseat and trunk, not to mention that clock. I was hoping you'd keep your S2000. I saw a gorgeous white 1990 Acura Legend 5 speed LS coupe whose owner is asking $5K and who would probably take 4 (Newport Beach car). Would make a nice foul weather companion for a Black S2000. Anyway, I hope your fellow CL-S owners don't beat you up too badly. They must be a rather insecure bunch since not a one of these "sports coupe" owners drives a proper stick shift car.

Just visited their forums, a lot of insecurity over there, trying to justify that the CL Type-S is a sports car. Right.

I must say that those forums are just nasty.

 

We had a gentleman over here for a short time who threatened murder, too. He is no longer here, I'm glad to say. You know you're still welcome Spectre, S2K or not.

 

Many other boards I've visited, Honda ones included, are filled with jive talking hip-hop gangsta type punks driving heavily modded Civics. I'm no slouch on the hip lingo but I can't understand half the guff that comes out of their mouths.

I think as the crowd gets younger and as we get older, all that just seems strange. The maxima forum used to be a great place to hang out. Now if someone asks for advise and you tell them something they don't want to hear, instead of thank you, you get (four letter word) you.
