The CL bunch really seems like a bunch of kids with either

A) rich mommy and daddys
B) people who decided to finance something and their job pays solely for their car.

anyhow, the first BBS I posted on was the corvetteforum.com, because I used to own a 99 C5. That bunch was a lot of fun... nice people.

This forum is much the same, albeit a smaller crowd (duh, fewer cars). Very nice and useful.

The CL forum is just CRAP. Those people think their car is the best thing on the road.

I looked there because we used to own a CL-S in Sundance Gold. My girlfriend came from a Ram Air Formula to the CL-S. She liked the way it drove (nice and luxurious with sporting undertones).

She grew tired of the car though. Partly the paint, partly the size. I thought it was a pretty neat car, but certainly not a sports car.

anyways, the CL is gone now, replaced by a 325i auto. While its not nearly the feature laden car the CL was, and being a 325 it doesnt have the power, but the overall experience of driving the 325 is very good compared to the CL-S. If it was a 330i, I'd give the nod there.

BUT, before you fire away at me, the CL-S represents EXCELLENT value for the money... you'd have to spend more to beat it

I wish she had gotten the 325i equipped with the xenons, and the sport package... but then she would probably have been buying it for me

The CL is a terrific car, but its really a culture shock to hit their forum and see all the punks there. I thought the CL was a refined car for mature people. A lot of the folks there look like they just moved up from the Civic...

there is my .02 worth...

You guys hit it dead on! I would ask simple questions about my car and I would get lame uncontructive answers. I pretty much wrote that BBS off! My CL-S is paid off, so if the market ever zooms again I am marching down to Honda and get another S2000. I miss the razor sharp responsiveness of the S2K, but I do like my new abilty to drink coffee and hold a conversation on my cell. Different worlds eh! Here is a pic of my new ride. If you guys don't mind, I would like to log on once and awhile. Stay Sharp!

I think your posting here is required, actually. You have experienced the bliss of the S2000 and you're now driving another $32,000 Honda. Enjoy the coffee and the ride. Good hearing from you.

Well most other Honda car forums arn't as good as this one.

We have a nice balance of age and knowledge on this board.
Also, the moderators do a good job keeping things under control.

Rub it in! I at least have one year of great memories. I can still feel the wind in my hair and the 2 litres screaming out for more! Someday.... Someday....

Check out my Comptech headers!

You sure the heat from the header won't damage the wiring just above? Looks awfully close..

Yobo Sai O, I don't think I spelled it right. Anyway, the
distance is greater than it looks in the pic. Comptech has installed over a hundred of these with no heat problems. I asked the same question as well. Kom som me da! I don't know if you speak Korean, but I sure don't know how to spell it!

Not bad spectre!

When I was in at U of Mich. in a dorm, I used to tell the guys that my Korean name is "HyungNim" which mean Big Brother or Boss (usually used by the organized Mobs to refer to the gang leader.)
My Korean friends could'nt help choking when they heard them calling me HyungNim... Also... you should've seen their faces when they found out. They damn near murdered me... the head of the mob.

Welll... nothing to with the stook but a funny story..
