You'd have to get 12.754 km/l equal 30 mpg

The question is not can you get 30-mpg, the question is can you keep your foot out of the throttle enough to get the 30-mpg!
Day one of my new car - read virgin engine that is not good for fuel economy - I got 31 and 33-mpg. I was shifting below 5,500 rpms, I was not putting any load on the engine, I was coasting along in 6th gear whenever I could get away with it, I was not driving I was just poking along getting my break in miles done.
Now I enjoy the leap to hyperspace and I get between 200 and 240 miles before I run out of bars and need to stop for gas. Some of the most fun days I have had I never even got to 200 miles before I needed gas.

The best I've been able to get is around 28 - 29 mpg. That was on a long trip to Santa Barbara. If I had my top up, I'm sure I would've gotten to 30 mpg.
I'm more than happy to get just 20 - 25 mpg with the top down and plenty of vtecing.

To answer your question, no, not all the time. However, it is possible to get 30 MPG on some trips.
Just this month I took a trip down to Stone Harbor, NJ and put 297.6 miles on a single tank and filled up at 11.145 gal. That works out to about 26.7 MPG. Most of trip was on the Parkway (10 tolls, 2 rest stops, about 20 miles of "city" type driving and traffic backups) That included two triple-digit blasts while "merging" from the rest stops and VTEC through at least three gears from most of the tolls.
Take away the fun and I could have gotten 30+ MPG, but what a boring five hours it would have been!

wow..its interesting to see the drastic difference in mileage people are able to obtain.
unless i go on a trip, all my driving is around town. i generally shift between 3 and 5 thousand rpms. in stop and go traffic i average 20 miles to the gallon.
on rare road trips in the s2000, i typically see 30 miles to the gallon. this achieved by cruizing around 70 to 80 mph, and sometimes bursts to 90.
