S2000 prices
I have a 2002 S2000 on order for March delivery. The car is silver/black and I am going to keep it for about 6 months (I am not going to register or title it) and then sell it. What would this car be worth in September on the open market and would you all prefer to look at a used one with no dealer installed options or just some? and if so which ones? Thanks for the advice

i am paying cash and getting the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin and signing that I will register the car myself, which is a standard procedure for someone buying a car and taking it out of state.

Are you expecting to make a profit off of this? If so, I wouldn't count on it. New ones are going for under MSRP now so your work would be much harder to sell it at a profit. Personally, I wouldn't want any dealer installed options on mine. The buyer can always add them later but many of them can't be removed easily if they're installed since holes are drilled in the body.

I am not expecting to make a profit, I just want to know what the market price will be and what equipment a buyer would prefer. I had to get all of the dealer installed options on my first S2000, but I wanted them all and I enjoyed having them. But, I know (like someone wrote) that most people who look at these cars are picky. So, I am just going to get the security system and floormats from the dealership. Thanks for the advice.
