Default s2000 rear end

I am planning on getting 375 whp and 240 torque..and want to race it at the strips so i need a new rear end...people have been telling me that i could do a s14 differential swap...with this swap will i need to change the final drive? Or is the stock s14 final drive 4.1? Also, will this swap be a direct bolt on or require some custom motifications?

An S2000 to run at the drag strip??? Kinda an oxymoron isn't it? Shoulda bought a 350Z unless you are doing an engine swap...

The s2000 is a perfect drag car as it is, no need for the silvia rear end.
Just put some slick on the rear, rev it to 7.5K and drop the clutch...
Good that you bought the S for draging, for auto-x or other type of racing where corners are a part of the deal, you should have gotten a mustang or camaro.

Or a GM 12 bolts,and you can always swap-in an LT-1.

It's your car, you can do what you want with it... but if I was looking for a drag car it would most definitely be V8 powered.

no the S14 isn't drop in. you'll need a shop to make custom mounts, do soemthing to get the propshaft to bolt up, and you'll need custom axles.

The Aussie's have the fastest one so far right? I think they used a toyota diff of some kind. Not sure what the details were though. I'm pretty sure they were selling the diff package on their website but I can't recall what it was.

I just thought it would be interesting to make a drag/drift/autox s2000. And money being the main issue, I just wanted to know the cheapest way to do this.
