Your serial number listing has a flaw. S2000s from other countries have a 6th significant digit classifying the country of import. IE: My Canadian car VIN is 800045. There very well could be (and is) a car imported to the US with VIN 000045. Other countries use other digits as well.
You may want to have people submit at least the last 6 digits to clarify this. This would also track cars that left the US or entered the US from other countries. IE many S2000s in Canada originated in the US and now reside in Canada.
