The 'Car Guide 2002' in the March 2002 Money Magazine reports that the resale value of an S2000, as a percentage of the sticker price after five years of ownership, is 50%. The only two that were higher were the Mercedes CLK320 convertible (51%) and the Porsche 911 Turbo (52%). On the other hand, although Money also reports that the S2000 sticker price is $32400, they set a target purchase price of $35840, which is 11% over the sticker price.
