I daily drive mine a lot and never get tired of it. You'll learn to dodge the rough parts of roads.

The ride is pretty harsh, compared to a family sedan... But in the corners the car just plants itself and it just feels....Right

Youll need to test drive one though, I recommend an AP2 04-07, they have softer suspension than the AP1s and the 08. Which makes it a more comfortable and easy to live with daily driver, especially with the low-end torque and less harsh ride.

"Bad" is subjective. All of the cars I've owned in my life were lowered so the S2000 rides pretty good in comparison. Stiffer than most cars stock but decent ride quality on harsh roads.

Find new friends.... Or at least tell the one that told you that to put the pipe down.

Too many variables. What roads you drive on at what speed, and the level of your tolerance.

I found the stock suspension to be quite nice and has good performance. However, the CR suspension can get a bit stiff ...

You are asking a highly subjective question to a group of somewhat opinionated enthusiasts. You need to find the answer out yourself.

Many people will hate to drive this car everyday.
Some people will love to drive it everyday.
You need test drive one to see which group you belong to.

I wondered about the same question a year ago, went and test drove one. I was surprised how shitty the ride was. I bought one. It is my daily driver. Then again, my previous ride was a Honda 919.
