s2000 safety vs BMW z3 safety
I currently have a 97' Z3 2.8 and I'm considering trading it in for a s2000, but I'm wondering which car is safer and handles better in different conditions. Does anyone know which car oversteers more? Also, I have driven my Z3 in very light snow just fine at verrrry slow speeds. Just wondering how the s2000 would hold up in light snow. I always feel like I'm going to stall out when driving in the snow, but I haven't yet in the Z. Thanks for any input. I'm just trying to get a comparison.

Which car puts down power better? The Z3.
Which car is more forgiving? The Z3.
The S2000 has a very stiff suspension in the rear, the Z3 is much more compliant. The payoff for the S2000 is more precise, flat, and neutral handling in the dry. The '04+ S2000 puts down power a bit better than the '03- in my experience, but I generally find my Z3 to be more forgiving in the wet.
Having said that, you really can't compare the two in snow- it will be 95% dependent on your tires and your driving.
These two cars are very different, you should really take a long drive in an S2000 to help you see the differences, good and bad.
