That's a neat site. I was wondering if it that would count USED car's registered for the first time as well? If so, that might account for the difference?

It's not disturbing at all. The Japanese economy is in the toilet, and no one can wrestle any money from the consumers there right now. Ask yourself the following question: "How can the oil shieks still afford to make a product that they can't sell at home?"

Their ability to sell it at home has nothing whatsoever to do with their ability to make money.

I believe Honda sold about 500 around here. Given that we are 10,000,000 that makes one S2000 per every 20,000 inhabitants. Is that a record or what?

My dealer announced me last year that only 150 S2000 per year are sold for 7'300'000 citizens in Switzerland !!!

Who says better ?
