When i saw the pic, and before i read any of the posts, I thought the same exact thing...they must be stolen. I feel kinda guilty passing judgement from one pic and having never met the owner. Perhaps they bought them off a buddy who got racing seats, who knows.
But it was the first thing I thought too

 

theres another set of black seats on ebay,guys says from a totalled S2000, he also just sold the hard top off of it.

Actually, if this is the same guy I saw auctioning the seats then he's reputable. If it is the same guy, he also had his hardtop on the auction block too because his wife totalled the front end of the car and the top was not on it at the time. Maybe he's selling his seats as well. He's probably just trying to make as much cash back from the junked car.

Yeah....one of my friend's S2K seats was stolen last week...


sad.....

 

I had emailed the guy asking him about the seats. The pics of the seats in the civic were just set in there. He hadn't transplanted the rails yet and they were still on the s2k rails. I was about to bid on them to put them in my prelude, but then i decided the prelude seats are just as good, and i'll just spend the $1000-1100 to wrap them at a good shop w/ real leather front and rear seats..
