Default S2000 Seats, What was your solution?

Two things that have always bothered me with the S2000 seats are: 1) lack of lumbar support. 2) lack of extra padding/cushioning on long drives.

What have you done to help overcome these problems? I know aftermarket race seats are definitely not the solution, they are worse, I've sat in a buddy club seat and it was terrible unless you track your S.

Is there a company that offers aftermarket seats that aren't bucket race seats but offer more comfort? TIA

Since I own a retail mattress chain, I just steal various type of pillows from my stores and try them out on road trips

Recaro makes various models. My buds VW has some ultra cushiony ones.

For me, there has to be a problem before I need a solution. The stock seats work fine.

I actually find the seats to mold pretty well to my back's shape, and find other cars without extensive lumbar adjustments to have worse support.

the stock seats are perfect for me. Just finished 800 miles on my cross-country and i'm still going strong.

Be sure not to slouch at all in the seat.

FYI - I remember another user bought some spiffy lumbar support thing. A search may turn it up.

try a sparco or momo racing seat, japanese import racing bucket such as buddy club are known for being narrow and squeezy around the "jewel" but again, they are not design for big and husky american(aka fat bastards like us)
