I agree, the seat lacks lumbar support, otherwise it's pefect.

I'd love to try something like this:

You could always try this Recaro:

I have lower back problems, and need additional support. I don't know about the new seats in the '06, but for previous years, the back panel of the seats is not attached all the way around. You can fold up a towel and stuff it in there so it won't show, but will possibly provide the additional support you need. I had one in there since I first noticed it the year I bought the car. With increased back problems, I added another towel for a road trip this past weekend.

I've always though the seats on the s2k were very comfortable =) and I've driven for 8 hours straight once.

I use the towel behind the seat trick for lumbar support as well.

A major problem on the S2000 seat (in terms of back and comfort) is that the bottom cushion is angled back and puts a lot of pressure on the lower back. One solution that will these seats more comfortable is to add spacers and a long bolt to the two back bolts of the seat. This will level the seat out better. Another solution is to get a cushion or pillow for the bottom cushion and sit on that.

I like to use the cushion so I can take it out easily for more spirited driving or shorter trips.

A lot of aftermarket seats I have read are too wide for this car. SI seats are nice if they will fit. Much more comfortable than S2000 seat and looks similar.

I was very impressed with the seats in the new SI (I'm also happy with the S2K seats). I wouldn't mind a set to replace the back breakers in my Prelude.

A local went to an upholstry shop and paid $50 or so to get extra padding added to certain areas. Even had gel packs added to the seat to make it more cushy. He's an older guy and needed the support. Towel behind the center section of the rear is a good cheap solution as well.
