Default S2000 special edition hardtop?

I went to the Honda dealer today and finally got to drive one! (I've been looking for 3 months -_-) Anyways the dealer was talking about it being a special edition where it came hardtop from the factory but without the soft top. The only thing is they say its all original but it has a black hardtop but its a silverstone car? also its a 2004 but it has ap1 5 spoke wheels? Does this sound fishy to anyone else? Other than that I am now officially obsessed with the car and can't wait to find the right one.

thanks
Hunter

The CR does not come with a soft top, but all others do.

There is a "Limited Edition" from the last years in the UK that came with a hardtop...but it also had a softtop.

If you're in the US, this MY04 was gutted before it was traded in. My guess is it probably has an AP1 console...does the cupholder slide back and have a silver face? What color is the radio door?

You sure it's a MY04...you read the VIN?

Sounds like you need to take a pass on this one...unless the dealer is willing to do a comp test with you witnessing it and it's good...still talk them down on the price.

Even if it's not complete, but is otherwise a good price, that OEM hardtop will get you $2500.

Good to know there are still a few suckers around with no patience to fall for a dealer's lies.
