For the year, check the VIN, for the hardtop, it could be a mugen replica since its black on silver more likely than not but it may just be an OEM black, the soft top they may not know what they are talking about and its there but you know you got to take a hardtop off or the previous owner removed the soft top due to theft, tearing, or track reasons.
Ultimately some of these questions could be answered with pictures. Pics of hardtop + Pic of behind roll hoops + pic of front headlights to see if it has ap2 lights.

yah it is deff a ap2 and yah it was a oem hard top not the mugen one. Ya they aren't able (or don't want to) to bring the price down into my budget. But my Dad's co-worker might be selling his 05 stook with 24k miles so that would be a better option anyways.

Pass. Way to much! Especially cuz the previous owner had it all modded up. He just bought ap1 stockers cuz they are the cheapest wheels you can find. Private party ftw

When I was shopping for mine I was like a walking s2000 encyclopedia, at the time I got an amazing deal. I knew my VIN by heart because I knew what every component meant.

Sounds like you should definitely do more research so that you don't get screwed...

Go back and ask them if they will go down on price if they physically bend you over and f@#k you instead of doing it through the price they want.

That is ridiculous price to ask.

Pass. Be a little patient. I looked for several months before my "deal" came along.

Be patient. MY03 back in 2006 it takes me more than 8 month to find her, and she only got 5003 miles. But I have to put about 750 miles to drove her home, love every sigle miles of it.
