Default S2000 Suspension Issues

Hi,
I have a 2004 S2000. It is completely stock. I just had new rear tires installed (fronts have good tread) and got an alignment (at dealership) and my problem is still not fixed. Above 80mph, the car feels like its fighting to stay straight on the road. If I touch the steering wheel right or left, it feels like it is way too touchy and trys to correct itself in the other direction. Around corners, it feels very unstable and not tight like it should be. It almost feels like the sway bar is not there (or the bushings are worn). The car is barely drivable over 100mph. I have 54K miles on the car. I have visually inspected the suspension and everything looks as it should (including sway bars and bushings). The shocks don't seem warn, and the springs are tight. Does anybody have any sugestions as to what the problem might be? Its driving me crazy!!! Thanks.

Why are you driving over 100mph?

What size front and rear tire widths?

Why not? You make it sound like it's HIS fault rather than the car's...haha.

Try adjusting your foot on the gas pedal. that should help with stability some.

Omg...all these internet policemen with the "slow down" comments are so clever!

Op: the car should be stable at high speeds. Do u have suspension mods? Does the steering feel too tight? A shop replaced my steering rack once and didn't adjust the preload on it, making for a WICKED unstable car.

Or maybe a slightly bent rack or control arm?

What type and size tires? They didnt...ugh...rotate the tires front to back did they? The rear wheels don't fit the front hubs.

Did u get alignment printouts?

The fronts are 215/45/17, and the rear are 245/40/17. The tire pressure is at 37 I believe. I will double check. I do not have any suspension mods. My steering rack feels ok, but I will see if I can have it checked. I got the alignment printout, and it is within the factory specs. Thanks, B serious.
For all the concerned citizens driving S2000s, I appreciate the concern with my driving. But why are you assuming I am driving that speed on the open road, and not a closed track?

man, everyone here has gone 100mph. they are hipocrites if they say they havent. are you completely sure that the alignment is within factory specs? you should post up your specs.

Yes, I'm sure. I double checked the specs with the service manual and they were ok. I double checked the tire pressure as well and it is 37 all around. I guess I'll check the control arms and steering rack for any problems...If anyone else has other ideas, please let me know. Thanks everybody.
