i had the same accident on freeway too, hit part of a shredded tire going at 80
but it only got the passenger side of my bumper a few scratches.
also knocked out the oem front grill as well, so now the grill is loose just chilling there.
i just wish these people would clean after there mess. if my tire blew up on the freeway and left crap of crap, i would have walk and picked up each piece while dodging traffic. pshhh lazy americans
