Some folks have a life outside S2ki where they don't have much time to waste going search and would like their question answered immediately the way they like.

I for one do not have much of a life outside S2ki so I'm always browsing around

The same way I got the speedometer to read OFL (out of limit)...

That only happens when you've maxxed it out. In this case, 999+ mph.

Ahmad, try PM-ing Russ about that. I know he has a lot of mods on his car that really improve performance. He's stated somewhere on here that the wing he has on the back of the S really does help the car at speeds over 100 mph. (And yes, his real name & his screen name on S2ki are the same).

Here's a link to one thread where he discussed it:

Also, you can put in your car's VIN to change your status from "enthusiast" to "owner".

Or maybe, and I know this is going to sound crazy, he didn't reset the tripometer.

The tyres you have on the car could have an impact on what the speedo says and rolling friction, etc.

Last year I hit 260kmh on the Autobahn with Dunlop SP9000s. Later on in the summer I got some "correct" S-02s and could tell that the speedo wasn't as inaccurate anymore. My top speed has been around 255kmh with S-02s.

I have the side strakes and rear deck spoiler. They might have cost me some speed; I don't know. Car is '00 and had 70.000km on it at the time.

At 260, revs were at ~8300rpm. No more power! Empty road, cool morning, on the way to a drift training event, awesome Until I got to the event and some dude with a Vette Z06 told me that he broke 300!
