Just stopped by to say Hi!

The fastest I went was 170 mph in my 3000VR4 (modded running at 18psi) passing a GSX-R 750 while we were racing down I-70.

I'm about to buy a S2000 this weekend and I plan to go as fast as 80mph in it. Maybe 90mph =)

The Need for Speed is in my past.

alexf20c, that picture of the speedometer topping out and reading OFL is about the funniest damn thing I have ever seen. I laughed so hard at work that everyone was looking at me. Is that your car? And if so are you forced induction? And if not, then how the hell did you get going that fast?

Hehehe. That's actually not even a pic of my car. That's Mom's (vtecmom) gauge cluster and I used good ol' MSPaint to touch it up a bit.

- try going 150mph (speedo didn't go that high, just guessing) in a civic with stock brakes
- I have gone about 150 in my civic, gixxer 1000 went up to about 146mph (bike not broken in yet and mph on a bike isn't very accurate), and about 130-ish in my IS....
- the civic and bike were pretty scary, the IS feels very stable at those speeds
- 163mph on my GIXXER 750

You only got a Gixxer liter bike up to 146mph? either you weren't trying or your speedo is off by about 35%.
