i got 128 with the top up, big corner was coming up so i decided 2 chill.

 

150mph couple weeks ago....top up....I was like 200-300 short of redlining sixth.

on youtube theres a video of a guy doing 281 kmh in a ap1 s2000. soo idk what the translation to mph that is but i'm guessing more then 150

 

also in 6th gear the s200 ap1 does 18.3 miles per something i figured it out a bit ago and at 9k it does 163? top speed is alll gear to rpm ratio

 

151mph indicated in my '05 S2000
174mph indicated in my old '01 Vette
162mph indicated on my old '01 CBR600 F4i

Those are my personal bests so far. I've also ridden shotgun in a friend's '06 Z06 when he hit 190mph indicated. That was quite a rush.

I merely translated 281 kilometers per hour to miles per hour. I was not insinuating that I went 174 mph



My top speed in the S is 72 mph.

 

what i want to know is... where do you people get the road to pull off speeds like that?

i once went 130 in my previous car... but that was on a rare rural trip on an empty deserted freeway. i dont think ive gone past 125 on the s2000... no opportunity (plus, the fear-of-god)
