S2000 totaled...i think
Last night it was raining here in Maryland, and I was on my home with a buddy of mine. We were pulling away from a stop sign on a side street, and I guess I gave it a little too much gas in 2nd, and the rear came out. I jumped a curb backwars, sild through a pole, and slammed into a large tree. Every panel except the hood is damaged. The rear end is completely smashed in, and my new rims are bent, and tires popped. I'm not sure that I have a question, but I thought I'd share. Should I just tell the insurance co exactly what happened? I guess there is no way spinning this that it won't be my fault. I'll post pics when I can. I'm waiting for the tow truck now.

Oh yea...I had to get 6 staples in my head too

To tell you the truth, I don't think I'll get a new one. I loved the car, but realize how impractical it was. I also want to buy a house soon, so I think I'll lease something cheaper. Maybe a wrx? What do you guys pay on your wrx's?
I don't think they'll pay for a new one. They'll only pay you what the car's current value is, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Is there engine damage? Sounds like they may try to fix it up, but if there's engine damage also, its totalled.

It doesn't matter whether or not the engine is damaged, or every body panel. Insurance comapanies consider a car totaled when the cost to fix it is 75% or greater of the replacement value.
